Free Illustrator Vectors – Mountain Theme

August 1, 2007

free vectorIllustrator vectors are so versatile, especially when they are free. I made these vectors a while ago for a series of graphic design concepts for country/mountain themed series of design projects. Why waste the unused ones? I hope you can find some use for them. The series includes highly detailed vectors perfect for backgrounds. They are free for use in ANY creative design endeavor, commercial or otherwise. The only thing you can’t do is post them for download on another website. They work well with various blend modes over textures in Photoshop. The files are EPS format that will open in Illustrator v10 or newer, which includes all versions of Adobe Creative Suite. Included are vectors for Illustrator of:

  • A cougar (mountain lion) on a boulder looking out
  • A rock face and trees from a distance
  • Rustic cabins and pine trees
  • Some craggily rocks and boulders
  • Dead tree branches reaching out
  • Tree trunks from a low perspective
  • A Hiker on a cliff edge path
  • A few mountain streams/rivers
